16.06.2015 Olesya Mykhailenko Studied Mediation Aspects in the Area of the Intellectual Property Law

Pro Bono

The main aim of the legal profession is to provide legal support and protection to those who need it. High quality free-of-charge legal aid on various issues of Ukrainian legislation is provided by experts of Gvozdiy & Oberkovych Law Firm with the same due care and high level of professionalism as during interactions with client organizations and individuals.

On both a corporate and personal basis our team traditionally supports, the operation of professional associations of lawyers, in particular the Ukrainian Advocates' Association and the Ukrainian Bar Association, assisting legislative drafting and appropriate reworking and reform of Ukrainian legislation. We actively provide consultation and advice assistance on the legal aspects of operation of national and international charitable associations and charitable foundations in Ukraine. Our knowledge of electoral legislation often become appropriate professional support for election manifestoes implemented in unison with democratic political forces.

When determining the feasibility of providing legal assistance on a pro bono basis the firm’s experts are guided by an approved internal policy which includes criteria for assessing social value and feasibility, as well as criteria for selecting the recipients of free legal aid.
