GOLAW attorneys have successfully represented a foreign creditor in the bankruptcy case of Azovstal Iron and Steel Works

GOLAW has represented a Czech creditor, a manufacturer of equipment for the metallurgical industry, in the bankruptcy case of Azovstal Iron and Steel Works, a member of Metinvest Group.

The dedicated efforts of the legal team involved the meticulous preparation of numerous procedural documents in the case, and highly skilled representation in court hearings which resulted in the noteworthy outcome — the Commercial Court of Zaporizhzhia Oblast recognized the Czech creditor’s monetary claims of approximately UAH 63 million, which includes the principal debt, 3% per annum, penalties, and court fees.
