GOLAW has successfully defended interests of a consumer of banking services in a dispute over protection of consumer rights
The law firm GOLAW has defended through legal proceedings the interests of a consumer of banking services, from whose account a significant amount of money was illegally written off by a Ukrainian bank.
At the end of 2020, the Kyiv Court of Appeal agreed with the arguments of attorneys of the law firm GOLAW, finding that the write-off and withholding of funds by the bank for seven months was illegal, and therefore it is subject to penalties in favor of the consumer.
In March of this year, with the facilitation of GOLAW attorneys, the state enforcement service enforced the judgement and recovered penalties in favor of the consumer as established by the court.
