THE PROCEDURE FOR FOREIGN CURRENCY SALE WAS SIMPLIFIED

Corresponding amendments to the Regulation on the Procedure and Conditions for Foreign Currency Trading were introduced by the Resolution of the National Bank of Ukraine No. 7 of January 25, 2018.

From now on, a client has the right to file an application for foreign currency sale with an authorised bank of their choice (regardless of the availability of a current foreign currency account opened in this bank).

UKRAINE JOINED THE PAN-EURO-MED

On February 1, 2018, the Regional Convention on pan-Euro-Mediterranean preferential rules of origin entered into force.

Ukraine’s accession to the Convention will contribute to the creation of conditions for trade facilitation and increase in domestic exports and will allow expanding the presence of domestic goods in foreign markets (EU, EFTA, Montenegro, Moldova, and Macedonia).

SMDC TERRITORIAL BODIES WERE AUTHORISED TO CONDUCT INSPECTIONS

By its order No. 30 of January 15, 2018, the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control (SMDC) entrusted its territorial bodies with a duty to inspect licensees’ compliance with the requirements of license terms and conditions.

E-SERVICE FOR ISSUING OF WASTE MANAGEMENT PERMITS STARTED TO WORK

As from February 1, 2018, the electronic service for the implementation of permitting procedures in the field of waste management in the part of issuance of permits for waste management operations was launched in test mode.
