Software Protection

Securing, licensing and protecting rights to software and source code for IT companies and developers

What is software protection?

Software is a key asset of an IT business, but the rights to it often remain unsecured: the code is written by contractors or employees, and the transfer of rights is not properly formalised. This creates risks during investment, a sale of the business or disputes.

GOLAW helps secure rights to software, properly formalise relations with developers, license the product and protect it from unauthorised use.

What we do

  • Securing copyright in software and source code
  • Formalising the transfer of rights from developers, contractors and employees
  • Preparation of licence agreements, EULAs, SaaS agreements and other models of use
  • Structuring software rights within an IT business and preparation for investment and due diligence
  • Protection of software rights from copying and unauthorised use
