ONLINE LECTURE | Corporate Disputes: From Conflict to Court Ruling

Whether it is secret decision-making, the director overstepping their authority, or the systematic failure to pay dividends — any corporate dispute requires a systematic approach. To emerge from this situation as the winner, it is important to act according to a clear plan designed to maximise the protection of your position.

EBA Management Development Center Team in partnership with the GOLAW invites company owners and practicing attorneys to a special webinar to be held on October 7 at 11:00 am (EEST). We will analyze real-life cases and current legal positions of the courts so that you gain effective tools for resolving corporate conflicts at every stage: from the initial disagreements to the final court verdict.

The event’s speaker will be Oleksandr Sert, Senior Associate at Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice at GOLAW, senior lecturer at the National Academy of Internal Affairs, Attorney at law and PhD.

During the webinar, participants will receive answers to key questions:

  • how to properly choose a defense strategy and why the Supreme Court denies appeals even in cases of obvious violations;
  • when challenging a general meeting’s decision is a viable tool and when the court applies the principle of balancing interests;
  • how the mechanism for transferring a buyer’s rights and challenging corporate transactions works;
  • how to protect the right to dividends, information and audits;
  • what specific steps should be taken even before a conflict arises.

Registration is obligatory. Only the users of the European Business Association can register at the event. Should you have any questions, please, write at development@eba.com.ua or call (044) 496-06-01.
