The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, in partnership with GOLAW, will host a practical webinar titled “Corporate Disputes: From Conflict to Court Ruling” on September 30 at 11:00 am (EEST).

The webinar is designed for business owners, executives, and lawyers. It will explore proven strategies for protecting corporate rights, minimizing operational risks, and achieving favorable outcomes in court.

Topics for discussion:

how to choose the right method of protection and why the Supreme Court may deny relief even in cases of obvious violations;
when challenging a general meeting resolution is a viable tool, and when the court applies the principle of balancing interests;
how the mechanisms for transferring buyer’s rights and challenging corporate transactions work;
how to protect the right to dividends, information, and audits;
what specific steps should be taken before a conflict arises.

The event’s speaker will be Oleksandr Sert, Senior Associate at Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice at GOLAW, Senior Lecturer at the National Academy of Internal Affairs, Attorney at law, PhD. Oleksandr have more than 10 years of experience in dispute resolution and business protection. He focuses on complex corporate disputes, real estate litigation, as well as bankruptcy and restructuring matters.
