GOLAW attorneys represented the interests of one of the largest banks in Germany in the Supreme Court

GOLAW represented one of the largest banks in Germany in a bankruptcy case. The law firm’s attorneys successfully proved in the Supreme Court the illegality of the refusal to the foreign creditor to open bankruptcy proceedings against a debtor with a debt to the bank of more than EUR 17 million.

The Supreme Court agreed with the arguments of GOLAW attorneys, overturned the illegal court decisions of the previous instances and sent the case for a new trial to the court of first instance.

GOLAW’s litigation attorneys led the project: partner and head of litigation Kateryna Manoylenko, partner Kateryna Tsvetkova and associate Igor Selivakin.
