GOLAW attorneys took part in the conference of the European Employment Lawyers Association

Last week, GOLAW attorneys Kateryna Manoylenko and Kateryna Tsvetkova took part in a large-scale event – the European Employment Lawyers Association conference. This organization brings together Europe’s leading lawyers specializing in labor law. By the way, this year’s conference was the first event when Ukrainian lawyers were invited.

The event brought together more than 500 leading lawyers, professors from European universities, in-house lawyers and HR specialists from major international companies, and representatives of diplomatic missions.

The subject of the discussion was the latest trends in labor law, including secondment, employee activism, remote work, corporate and social responsibility, as well as high-profile labor disputes of Starbucks, Google, and Amazon.

However, any discussion was reduced to the topic of the war in Ukraine and its impact on the world economy.

GOLAW is grateful to the European Employment Lawyers Association for the invitation, new knowledge, and experience, as well as incredible support for Ukraine during these challenging times.
