WEBINAR | The new PPP law in Ukraine: opportunities for foreign investors
Ukraine has updated the rules of the game for public-private partnerships (PPPs), laying the foundation for modern, transparent, and effective interaction between business and the public sector. For foreign companies, this means one thing: there are now more clear opportunities for implementing large-scale, long-term projects.
To help investors understand the key changes and assess the new prospects, GOLAW, together with Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft, will hold a webinar entitled “The new PPP law in Ukraine: opportunities for foreign investors” on November 24, 2025.
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the reformed PPP model, from legislative innovations to real-life case studies. The following experts will share their insights:
- Partner at GOLAW Oleksandr Melnyk;
- Senior Associate at GOLAW Yevhenii Ahashkov;
- Chief outreach Officer at Boreal Light GmbH Anna Shepelenko.
Key issues to be discussed:
- what mechanisms are included in the new PPP law and how they work in practice;
- what changes investors should consider before entering Ukrainian projects;
- how private partners can generate returns within the framework of PPP;
- which industries will be the most promising for international business in the coming years;
- how PPPs will affect Ukraine’s reconstruction.
The webinar will be held in English. Registration is open until November 21, 2025, on the oa-event.de portal under the code UAPPP25.
