GOLAW helps register over three miillion UAH in tax invoices for agricultural company

GOLAW law firm has successfully defended the interests of an international agriculture company specializing in mineral fertilizers in a tax dispute against Ukrainian tax authorities by successfully unblocking twenty tax invoices, resulting in a VAT tax credit in the amount of more than 3 million hryvnas.

The tax authorities charged the company with acquiring insufficient volumes of goods for further supply and with failing to provide the necessary documents for tax invoices registration.

GOLAW attorneys managed in court to rebut the illegal decisions of the tax office and to ensure execution of the court’s decision on registration of tax invoices by the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

GOLAW Tax Practice team heading the project were GOLAW Partner Iryna Kalnytska, Head of the Tax Practice and Senior Associate Olena Sulyma.
