GOLAW's team held webinars on public-private partnerships

Team of Corporate Law and M&A practice at GOLAW held webinars on the updated legislation on public-private partnerships (PPPs) in Ukraine to help foreign and Ukrainian investors gain a practical understanding of how PPPs work in Ukraine following the legislative update.

The first webinar “The New PPP Law in Ukraine: Opportunities for Foreign Investors” organized jointly with Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft on November 24 provided participants with a clear understanding of forms of public-private partnership, the sequence of stages in the preparation and adoption of decisions on the implementation of PPP projects, as well as updated procedures

The second event “Public-Private Partnerships in Ukraine” held on December 2 in conjunction with the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce provided a more in-depth look at sectoral priorities currently determined by the state of war, and PPP projects that are already in the preparation stage for implementation.

The speakers were Partner at GOLAW, Head of Corporate Law and M&A practice Oleksandr Melnyk and Senior Associate at Corporate Law and M&A practice Yevhenii Ahashkov, and the first webinar was also joined by Chief outreach Officer at Boreal Light GmbH Anna Shepelenko.

Webinar participants received not only legal information, but also a practical understanding of how PPP projects are implemented and why this sector is the most relevant for investors.
