The court fee rates have been increased since January 1, 2022

A court fee in Ukraine shall be charged from the subsistence rate for able-bodied persons, established by the law as of January 1 of the calendar year in which the relevant application or complaint shall be filed with a court.

Thus, since January 1, 2022, the subsistence rate for able-bodied persons has been increased by UAH 211.00 compared to last year and amounts to UAH 2,481.

As a result, court fees in hryvnia are also increasing.

For example, from now on, individuals and individual entrepreneurs will have to pay a court fee of 1 percent of the price for filing a civil lawsuit, but not less than UAH 992.40 and not more than UAH 12,405. For filing the same lawsuit, legal entities will have to pay an amount of 1.5 percent of the price of the lawsuit, but not less than UAH 2,481 and not more than UAH 868,350.

It is worth saying that the law provides for different rates of court fees depending on the type of application and jurisdiction of the court, as well as increases the rates of court fees in case of appeal to each court of higher instance.
