Advising Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation (EGAP) in the Czech Republic on tax consequences of a sale of Real Estate and movable property located in Ukraine in favor of the resident of Ukraine.

Advising ProCredit Bank on the tax consequences of foreclosure on immovable and movable property transferred to the bank as collateral under the mortgage and pledge agreements.
Appealing of the tax inspection’s results for Inditex Group

Judicial appeal of the results of the tax inspection of the company in Inditex Group as a result of which the tax authority made an unlawful decision on the additional accrual of tax liabilities for income tax and VAT. As a result of successful appeal, additional charges were cancelled by the court. Additionally, the court recover the expenses for the legal services from the tax office.

Advising an Austrian company, the manufacturer of energy drinks Red Bull, on taxation issues of foreign economic activity.
Provision of full legal support to Evyap Trading Ukraine in a tax dispute

GOLAW provided full legal support to Evyap Trading Ukraine, a leading international FMCG company, in a tax dispute. The court of first instance and appellate court ruled in favour of Evyap Trading and cancelled all tax notice decisions. The Supreme Court also rejected the cassation claim of the tax office. Moreover, the courts of all instances recovered the legal fees from the tax office in full.
Advising EGAP on the tax consequences of sale of the united property complex to non-resident

GOLAW advised EGAP, the national state-owned credit insurance agency in Czech Republic, on the tax consequences of sale of the united property complex to non-resident of Ukraine (Swiss company) and the process of withholding tax payment.
